Hanatek System, SK Planet, and SK Telecom (SKT) are selected as the companies joining ‘Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Innovative Technology Competition Project’. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 7th, “We have finally selected three cases that apply innovative technologies and solutions owned by private companies to ITS”. Hanatek System’s ‘Smart Crosswalk Safety System Using IoT Geomagnetic Sensor’ provides real-time location information of the site along with safety information (lighting, sound, etc.) to both vehicles and pedestrians approaching the intersection. This service is expected to expand in the future as it contributes to reducing pedestrian accidents on national roads by delivering dangerous situations in an easy-to-understand manner to pedestrians and drivers using lights and voices.
